LCD, LCD screens, commonly known as blind screens, are limited in their viewing angle, low contrast, and response time.
1. Limited viewing angle
The viewing angle of LCD is relatively narrow. When viewing the screen, if the angle is incorrect or viewed diagonally from the side or top, the content displayed on the screen will become blurry, dim, or color distorted. It's like your eyes can only see a part of the content while watching, and the rest becomes blurry, hence the name 'blind screen'.
2. Low contrast
Compared to other display technologies, LCD has relatively low contrast. Contrast refers to the degree of difference between the brightest and darkest parts of a display screen. Low contrast may result in unclear image details, unable to display vivid colors and details. This has also led people to refer to it as a 'blind screen'.
3. Response time limit
In fast-moving image or video playback, the response time of LCD is relatively long. This means that there may be residual or blurry effects when switching images. This phenomenon may cause confusion when viewing the image and prevent obtaining a completely clear display effect.
